Part Time Class 1 ADR delivery driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Class 1 ADR Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering goods safely and efficiently across various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer service. The position is on a week on week off basis.

Duties

• Delivery of ADR consignments across the UK
• Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and logs as required by company policy.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road.
• Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients at delivery points.

Requirements

• Valid commercial class 1 driving licence with Driver CPC qualification is essential
• Valid ADR licence is essential
• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving.
• Excellent time management skills with a focus on punctuality and reliability.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with team members and clients.
• A commitment to maintaining a clean driving record throughout employment.
