Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated, dependable, customer-focused Part-Time Class A CDL Driver to join our team in Nolanville. This role offers an exciting opportunity to allow flexible scheduling for delivering empty storage containers and ground level office containers, efficiently and safely. You will be responsible for ensuring timely service, and maintaining excellent customer interactions as the face of LSMS.

What You’ll Do:

• Safely deliver, pick up, and relocate empty storage containers and ground level offices
• Provide a professional, friendly experience at customer sites
• Communicate clearly with customers and team members
• Represent LSMS with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Safely operate Class A commercial trucks with manual transmissions and flatbeds that self load and offload.
• Load and unload inventory using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
• Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, pickups, and mileage for each trip
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries and pickups
• Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during route driving

Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record of at least 5 years.
• Minimum of 5 years experience driving tractor-trailers, especially with manual transmissions
• Prior delivery driver experience preferred, especially with freight or storage containers but not required. Can train.
• Ability to operate forklifts or other material handling equipment (certification preferred)
• Knowledge of route planning, load & unload procedures, and safety regulations
• Strong communication skills and a professional attitude
• Ability to work flexible hours as part of a part-time schedule

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Experience:

• Class A CDL : 5 years (Required)
• Customer Service or Sales: 5 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Class A CDL License (Required)
