Michael’s Janitorial & Floor Service, Inc. is seeking dependable part-time cleaning staff to join our team. This position is for one of our downtown facilities and is part-time only.

Position: Part-Time Cleaning Staff
Schedule: Wednesdays and Saturdays
Primary Time: 10:00 PM – 12:30 AM
Alternate Time: 6:30 PM – 9:00 PM, depending on venue events

Applicants must be available on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Job Summary:

The cleaning staff member will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall presentation of the facility. This role requires someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and performing general cleaning duties
• Mopping large floor areas
• Operating a backpack vacuum
• Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, breakrooms, offices, and common areas
• Restocking supplies as needed
• Disinfecting frequently touched surfaces, including desks, door handles, and office equipment
• Properly disposing of trash and recycling in designated areas
• Assisting with facility opening/closing procedures and security systems as required
• Treating team members, clients, and guests with courtesy and respect
• Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and professionalism

Qualifications:

• Previous janitorial experience preferred
• Must be dependable and punctual
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to communicate by phone and through various apps
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move for extended periods
• Must be able to mop large floor areas
• Must be able to operate a backpack vacuum
• Good dexterity for completing cleaning tasks effectively
• Reliable transportation
• Integrity and the ability to work with minimal supervision
• Commitment to delivering high-quality work
