Job Description


The Probate Court is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Part-Time Clerk to assist with digitizing historical court records for secure online access. This position also includes performing a variety of clerical tasks to support the day-to-day operations of the court.


Essential Duties
  • Digitizing and organizing historical court records for electronic storage and access
  • Performing data entry and maintaining accurate records in court databases
  • Entering case information into computer systems and ensuring data integrity
  • Providing clerical support including filing, scanning, and document preparation
  • Communicating effectively verbally and in writing with the public, coworkers, and court officials
  • Managing multiple tasks and prioritizing assignments efficiently
  • Demonstrating sound judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Grade
The grade for this position is 97.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • One year of clerical/administrative office experience
Preferred Qualifications in addition to the above minimum qualifications
  • Experience handling cash
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suites
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
