We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable Part-Time Clinical Research/Medical Clerical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in performing study related tasks, which may include some or all of the following:
- Medical records request/review
- Scheduling
- Lab processing and/or phlebotomy
- Patient vitals and medical history
- Assist with or perform pulmonary function testing
- Assist with or perform EKG
- Assist with or perform ABI
Job Overview:
The Part-Time Clinical Research/Medical Clerical Assistant will be responsible for managing and organizing clinical research and medical documentation. This role requires attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. This is a part-time position and will involve working closely with our research team to support the day-to-day operations of clinical trials and ensure proper filing and record-keeping.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and organize clinical study documents, medical records, and regulatory paperwork
- Ensure that all documents are accurately filed and easily retrievable
- Assist with data entry and ensure proper documentation of study progress and patient information
- Track and manage the lifecycle of clinical and research documents to maintain compliance with regulatory standards
- Collaborate with research staff to ensure timely completion of required documentation
- Prepare, copy, scan, and fax various documents as required by the study or team
- Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and other research-related documentation
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and other privacy standards
- Perform other administrative tasks as needed to support the research team
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree or higher preferred)
- 1+ year of experience in a clerical or administrative role, preferably in a medical or research setting
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in document management and filing
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Familiarity with medical terminology and clinical research processes is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion

Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour
