Part-Time Commercial Cleaner

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time Commercial Cleaner to join our dynamic facilities maintenance team. The open position is for two days per week ( Saturday and Sunday for 8 hours each) There is a possibility of a 3rd day very soon ( Mondays, 8 hours) This role offers an exciting opportunity to ensure the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of commercial spaces, creating a welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of all common spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, trash removal, and surface sanitization, glass cleaning, mopping floors .
• Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, to ensure pristine flooring conditions.
• Assist with janitorial tasks such as window cleaning, carpet cleaning, and light custodial duties to support facility upkeep.
• Support facilities maintenance by reporting repairs needed for fixtures or equipment and assisting with light maintenance tasks as required.
• Follow health and safety protocols diligently to create a safe working environment for yourself and others.
• Experience
• Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing is advantageous.
• Experience with facilities maintenance tasks such as light repairs or painting adds value to your application.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, safety procedures, and proper equipment usage is essential.
• Previous porter experience or background in industrial cleaning demonstrates your ability to handle diverse cleaning responsibilities effectively. Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
