Part-Time Content Creator & Social Media Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking a creative, organized, and detail-oriented Part-Time Content Creator & Social Media Manager to oversee our digital presence and support ongoing marketing efforts. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys storytelling, design, and building engaging online communities while maintaining a strong and consistent brand voice.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Management & Content Creation

  • Develop, create, and curate engaging content across social media platforms
  • Schedule and publish posts while maintaining a consistent brand voice
  • Manage multiple social media accounts and content calendars
  • Monitor platforms for comments, messages, and mentions; actively engage with audiences
  • Stay up to date on trends, platform updates, and best practices


Marketing & Brand Management

  • Plan and execute social media marketing and advertising campaigns
  • Track performance metrics and provide insights for improvement
  • Manage online reviews and oversee reputation management
  • Build and maintain B2B relationships and marketing partnerships
  • Create and distribute a monthly owner newsletter


Design & Creative Assets

  • Design graphics and marketing materials
  • Create signage and branded assets as needed
  • Ensure visual consistency across all platforms and materials


Digital Presence & Platform Management

  • Perform website updates and ongoing management
  • Coordinate listing photography, including editing and optimization
  • Enhance listing visuals and overall marketing presentation


Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Canva
  • Experience with website platforms
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, including:
    • Instagram
    • LinkedIn
    • Facebook
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Basic knowledge of social media analytics and performance tracking
Preferred Experience

  • 1–2 years of experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing
  • Experience running social media campaigns and/or paid advertising
  • Familiarity with branding and marketing strategy
  • Basic photo editing and content optimization skills


Position Details

  • Part-time position (hours may vary based on workload)
  • Flexible schedule with some deadline-driven work
  • Must live in Traverse City, Michigan
