The Lucey Agency is a growing marketing firm based in downtown Hendersonville, NC, and is looking for a part-time Content Creator and Marketing Assistant to join the team. The role is perfect for someone who enjoys being out in the field, creating content, working with local businesses, being creative, and contributing to real marketing campaigns.

Position Overview

This is a 20-hour-per-week, hybrid in-office/remote position with a strong focus on content creation for social media clients. You’ll spend time both in the field and in our downtown office, supporting a variety of marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation (Primary Focus)

• Visit client locations to capture photo and video content for social media
• Shoot short-form video (reels/stories) using an iPhone w/auxiliary mic setup
• Edit content for Facebook and Instagram
• Upload finished content to us (no posting or hashtagging required)

Marketing & Sales Support

• Assist with outreach to current and prospective clients
• Help communicate Lucey Agency services, including:
• Website design, development and SEO
• Social media marketing
• Branding & logo design
• Photography & videography
• Opportunity to earn additional income through commission by helping secure clients

Podcast Coordination

• Schedule interviews for the Kudzu Project podcast
• Coordinate communication with guests and manage scheduling logistics
• Opportunity to earn additional income through commission by helping secure podcast sponsors and advertising partnerships

What We’re Looking For

• Comfortable shooting and editing video on an iPhone
• Basic video editing skills (reels-style content)
• Strong communication and people skills
• Self-starter who can work independently
• Organized and reliable
• Interest in marketing, media, or storytelling is a big plus

Compensation

• $15-17/hour
• ~20 hours per week
• Opportunity for commissions as well as raises based on performance
• No benefits
