Part-Time Content Creator (Video + Photo – Coffee / Retail)

We operate a 5-location coffee business in San Diego focused on great coffee, food, and customer experience.

We’re building our presence on Instagram and TikTok by showcasing the real energy of our shops, our team, and our customers.

Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on content creator focused on short-form video (Reels / TikTok) who can also capture strong, natural photography.

This role is about documenting what it actually feels like to be in our coffee shops — the people, the pace, and the personality — and turning it into engaging, consistent content.

What You’ll Do

• Film short-form video content in our stores (1–2 days/week)
• Capture natural, candid photography alongside video
• Create content including:
• “day in the life” of a barista
• behind-the-scenes moments
• customer energy and busy periods
• drinks and food in real environments (not staged)
• Edit videos for TikTok and Instagram Reels (hooks, captions, pacing)
• Deliver consistent content:
• 3–5+ videos per week
• 5–10 photos per week

What We’re Looking For

• Experience creating short-form video (TikTok / Reels)
• Strong editing skills and understanding of engaging content
• Ability to capture authentic, unstaged moments
• Photography that feels natural (not overly styled or staged)
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced café environment
• Ability to direct people casually and bring out personality

Important

This is NOT:

• a traditional photographer role
• a studio or styled shoot role
• a social media manager role

We are specifically looking for someone who can consistently create real, engaging content from live environments.

Compensation

• Part-time (1–2 days/week)
• Flexible (day rate or monthly retainer)
