Part-Time Custodian

Job Summary:

LeRoy Village Green Residential Healthcare Facility, a premier provider of short-term rehabilitation and long-term care services, is seeking a part-time Custodian to join our dedicated team. As a Custodian, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facility, ensuring a comfortable and safe environment for our residents and staff.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and disinfect common areas, and equipment as needed
• Empty trash and recyclables, and restock supplies
• Perform light housekeeping tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, and mopping
• Restock linen and supply closets
• Assist with laundry duties as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth operation
• Follow established protocols for infection control and safety

Requirements:

• 0 years of experience (recent graduates and new entrants encouraged to apply)
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for long periods
• Basic understanding of infection control and safety procedures
• Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and evenings
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
