Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children by maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free classroom environment.
• Provide attentive caregiving by feeding, diapering, and comforting children as needed throughout the day.
• Manage classroom routines efficiently while fostering independence and positive behavior through gentle guidance and behavior management techniques.
• Collaborate with parents and guardians to share updates on each child's progress and address any concerns proactively.
• Maintain accurate records of children's activities, health incidents, and developmental milestones in compliance with licensing standards.
• Support inclusive education by adapting activities for children with special needs or disabilities, ensuring every child feels valued and supported.

Experience

• Prior experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or similar setting is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education is essential.
• Familiarity with classroom management strategies to foster a positive learning environment.
• Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional training in special education or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
• Experience caring for infants, toddlers, or preschoolers will help you excel in this nurturing role.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
