We have an immediate opening for a part-time commercial cleaner to help us provide an outstanding level of service that will enhance the experience of every patron that enters our buildings throughout the downtown Portsmouth area. Due to the requirements of the position, the hiring process does include a background/credit check.

The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Clean, stock and supply designated facility areas (including, but not limited to, dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents) of office spaces, common areas, restrooms, parking garages, trash rooms and building exteriors
• Perform and document routine activities
• Carry out heavy cleaning tasks and special projects
• Notify management of any deficiencies or need for repairs
• Stock and maintain supply rooms
• Follow all health and safety regulations
• Snow removal
• Lawn maintenance
• Trash removal
• Seasonal exterior window washing
• Multiple locations are all within walking distance

Minimum Qualifications

• Proven experience in the commercial cleaning industry
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
• Self-starter with ability to work independently

Additional Requirements

• Prolonged periods standing
• Weekend hours required.
• Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift 25 - 50 pounds
• Ability to work independently
• Integrity and honesty
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
