Overview
We are a small, locally owned furniture company seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Part Time Delivery and Stocking Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and delivering inventory, ensuring products are accurately and safely received, unboxed, inspected, assembled (as necessary), stocked and organized, and providing excellent customer service when interfacing with clients. This position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to perform heavy lifting, and experience in a warehouse or retail environment.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver furniture to customers in a safe and professional manner
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries
- Assemble furniture at customer locations and in-store
- Maintain organized stock areas and assist with inventory management
- Perform light furniture repairs as needed
- Use basic computer systems for inventory and delivery tracking
- Represent our company with a courteous and professional demeanor
Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move heavy furniture (75+ lbs) safely and efficiently
- Available to work 2–3 days per week (including rare weekends is a plus)
- Neat and professional appearance
- Experience with basic computer tasks (email, inventory systems, etc.)
- Capable of assembling furniture following instructions/manuals
- Strong attention to detail and good communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (if driving company vehicle)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience with minor furniture repair
- Experience in delivery or warehouse work
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
