Job Description:

As a Part-Time Delivery Truck Driver at KBI Custom Case, Inc., you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive our cabinets in excellent condition and on time. You will be responsible for safe and efficient transportation of goods while delivering exceptional service to our valued customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate and drive delivery trucks to transport goods to customers' locations.
• Early Morning and Late Afternoon Deliveries are required.
• Load and unload merchandise and ensure proper handling and securement during transit. The ability to lift 50+ pounds is a must.
• Get required shipment documents signed upon delivery.
• Report damaged goods.
• Provide excellent customer service by delivering products promptly and courteously.
• Communicate effectively with customers and the dispatch team regarding delivery schedules or any issues encountered.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• NO CDL License is required.
• Prior experience as a delivery driver of a 16’ plus truck.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Physical capability to lift and move heavy items as needed.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Knowledge of local routes and Chicagoland areas is a plus.
