Part Time Dental Assistant

Part time dental assistant with at least one year experience needed in upscale cosmetic and general dentistry office. Our focus is patient care. Skill in fabricating temporaries is desired. We are looking for a reliable assistant for a long-lasting, mutually beneficial working relationship.

Tuesdays and Thursdays 8 am -3 pm

Experience required. Pay rate dependent on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
• Set up rooms with instruments and material needed
• Sterilize instruments
• Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
• Process lab tasks as instructed
• Maintain clean and well-stocked rooms
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Valid Radiography and CPR Certification
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
• Understanding of health & safety regulations
• Ability to follow directions
• Eaglesoft and OpenDental experience preferred
• Attention to detail
• Well-organized and reliable

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Schedule:

• No weekends
