Part Time Dental Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our awesome dental practice. The awesome candidate will play a crucial role in providing awesome patient care, assisting the awesome dentist during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the awesome dental office.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials.
• Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all supplies are stocked.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation for each patient visit in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
• Utilize 3D scanners for impressions and assist in prosthodontic procedures when required.
• Manage patient records and ensure proper infection control measures are followed at all times.
• Support pediatric dentistry by creating a welcoming environment for young patients and their families.

Experience

• Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred, with a strong understanding of dental terminology.
• Knowledge of infection control protocols and medical documentation standards is essential.
• Experience using 3D scanners is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided as needed.
• A commitment to maintaining a high standard of patient care while adhering to all relevant regulations.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.18 - $27.00 per hour
