Part Time Dental Assistant

Overview
Interested in hiring a kind and caring Dental Assistant for a part time position. Hours and days to be discussed. Having a basic understanding of dental procedures is great, but we will provide on the job training.

Duties

• Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.
• Take radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records using Open Dental software.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
• Utilize 3D scanners for imaging when required, ensuring high-quality results.

Qualifications

• Previous training as a Dental Assistant is a plus
• X-ray certified
• Knowledge of dental terminology
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
