Description: We are looking for a Friday Dental Assistant to join our pediatric dental team.

Details: Part-time Dental Assistant from 8 a.m.- 5 p.m. Fridays

• Greet and prepare patients for treatment in a timely, enthusiastic and professional manner

Skills: Chairside assisting

• Sterilize and prepare instruments, prepare proper tray set up and treatment rooms
• Take x-rays and impressions
• Good judgement and decision making
• Excellent organization and computer skills; including notes and charting
• Educate parents and patients on oral health
• Accurate and timely progress note taking and recording
• Dentrix and dental imaging w/ Dexis experience a plus
• Note: We are a paperless environment and use electronic charting for record keeping.
• Experience working in a pediatric dental practice a plus

Job Requirements:Valid CPR Certification

Dental Assisting degree from an accredited college or dental assisting experience preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
