2 different shift hours; Shifts 8:00-5. or 11-8 and Saturdays 9-3

Average Dr take home before taxes per day $2,250 (Pending on skill level and case acceptance)

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their treatment. The Dentist will perform a variety of procedures, from routine check-ups to restorative rehabilitation, while maintaining a commitment to patient education and preventive care.

This location has 10 operatories and will be shared with multiple specialties including Orthodontics, Pediatric Dentistry, Endodontics and Oral Surgery.

The dentist should have at least 1-2 years experience in clinical dentistry and the ability to maintain internal referrals to the appropriate specialties when the treatment is out of scope for the clinician. We encourage our associate dentists to attempt all treatments that they are comfortable with including crown and bridge, removable dentures and partials, oral surgery, pediatric cases and invisalign.

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and examinations to diagnose dental conditions to all patients regardless of economic disposition.
  • Perform a range of dental procedures including fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, stainless steel/zirconia crowns and permanent restorations.
  • Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
  • Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure proper documentation of patient treatments.
  • Educate patients about oral health, preventive care, and treatment options available.
  • Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide optimal patient care.
  • Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and techniques to enhance service delivery.

Skills

  • Proficient in using Open Dental for managing patient records and appointments.
  • Strong understanding of dental terminology and medical terminology relevant to the field.
  • Knowledge of aseptic techniques to ensure safe practices in the clinical environment.
  • Ability to communicate immediacy in need for patients to understand diagnosing/tx planning importance.
  • Ability to effectively assess patients' needs and provide tailored treatment plans.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and staff effectively.
  • Commitment to maintaining a high standard of care while adhering to safety protocols.
