Work Schedule:

• Tuesday 9a-6:30p
• Wed & Thursday 1:00p – 6:30p
• Friday 8:00a – 6:30p
• Off Major Holidays

Department: Dietary Job Status: Part Time

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Reports To: Executive Director

Position Summary:

Dietary employees’ responsibilities are to provide a friendly, courteous family style dining experience to the residents. This position is required to maintain a safe and clean dining and kitchen area.

Work Environment:

Kitchen environment (temperature controlled)

Dining room environment (temperature controlled)

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent;
• Have met the requirements of drug screening, covid-19 vaccination, criminal background check, and verification of previous employment;
• This role requires a computer-literate individual who can effectively check, manage, and respond to all work-related emails and electronic notifications daily, or as needed, while on shift;
• Be physically and mentally capable of carrying out assigned responsibilities, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures;
• Be able to communicate effectively in English both orally and written as applicable to job responsibilities;
• Be of good character and reputation;
• Energetic and organized skills a must;
• Be considerate and respectful of the rights, dignity, and sensitivities of aged and disabled persons;
• Be clean, well groomed, and wear proper footwear;
• Must be able to sit, stand, bend, walk, lift, and carry things using proper body mechanics;
• Working knowledge of OSHA and SDS standards;
• Clean driving record and possess a current driver’s license if driving the company vehicle;
• Must be awake at all times;
