Part Time Driver

Join the Certified Transmission team as a part-time driver! We’re looking for an experienced driver to ensure prompt and efficient delivery of orders and pickups.

What to expect as a part-time driver:

• Work schedule: 20-35 hours per week
• Monday to Friday only (3-5 days per week)
• Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• Pay: $15 per hour
• Weekly payments every Friday

Duties of the part-time driver include:

• Deliver and pick up items, units, and parts at various locations Customers are responsible for loading and unloading transmissions and core transmissions
• Inspect the vehicle for defects before each shift
• Collect paperwork, supplies, bank bags, or other items from the receptionist
• Verify that all delivered parts and items match the purchase order (PO) and ensure you have a PO for everything being delivered
• If no one is available to receive deliveries, immediately inform the shipping manager for further instructions
• Return all warranty parts picked up from customers to the Certified Transmission shipping office
• Clean the vehicle’s interior daily
• Maintain delivery logs, computer records, and other documentation
• Notify a manager immediately if any unit, part, or item is missing or there’s another issue
• Load and secure freight safely for transport
• Report any equipment failures, damage, or repair needs right away

Requirements of the delivery driver include but are not limited to:

• Valid driver’s license and at least one year of driving experience
• Clean driving record
• Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and safety best practices during deliveries
