Part-Time Driver/ Mover/Logistics Support

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Logistics Associate/Driver/Mover to join our home staging team. Our dedicated professionals are energetic and enthusiastic about providing our clients with the best service and product in this fast-paced industry. The individual would be responsible for performing all duties related to incoming and outgoing inventory in our warehouse and at job sites. The ideal candidate for this position is reliable, detail-oriented, and team-focused.

Key features Include:

• Manage the inventory flow in and out of the warehouse, project site, loading docks, delivery vehicles, by hand or using dollies
• Wrap, load, transport & place inventory at job sites
• Work with other team members including design team
• Assemble, repair and clean furniture
• Maintain order and organization in the warehouse
• Manage all aspects of warehouse, including ordering warehouse supplies, communicating inventory needs, cleaning warehouse including the bathroom, and cleaning and maintaining trucks
• Working closely with other team members to ensure all stagings and de-stagings go out in a timely manner
• Ability to use various apps and tools including inventory system

Requirements:

• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license, valid DOT medical card, and the ability to drive a 17 ft box truck and cargo van
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Must be able to lift 60 lbs. unassisted and up to 150 lbs. assisted
• Resume with employment history and references preferred
• Moving and/or warehouse experience a plus
• Interest in home design a plus, but not necessary
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license, and the ability to drive a 17 ft box truck and cargo van
• Must have cell phone and the ability to use apps (time tracking, team communication, Google Calendar, etc.)
• Reliable personal transportation to warehouse located in Nutley NJ and the ability to use it to travel to job sites on rare occasions
• High level of professionalism
• Neat and clean appearance
• Excellent communication skills
• Must be a team player and be flexible and enjoy a fast paced, deadline driven, dynamic environment. No two days are ever the same.

Position requires a flexible schedule of 20-30 hours per week between the hours of 9:00 am and 4:00 pm, Monday-Friday.

In-house environment consists of working in the warehouse (varying temperatures) in Nutley NJ as well as traveling to job sites all over North & Central Jersey within an hour of our warehouse location.
