Part-Time Dump Truck Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Dump Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will operate heavy-duty dump trucks to transport and deliver materials efficiently across various job sites. Your expertise in truck driving, route management, and vehicle operation will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Duties

• Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, debris, or freight to designated locations.
• Follow planned routes for delivery and pickup, adhering to schedules and traffic regulations to optimize efficiency.
• Conduct routine inspections of vehicles before and after trips, checking for mechanical issues, fluid levels, tire pressure, and safety features.
• Maintain accurate logs, mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance records in compliance with company policies.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site personnel to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly.

Experience

• Proven experience operating manual dump trucks or similar heavy-duty vehicles such as tractor-trailers or roll-off trucks in a commercial driving environment.
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record; specific endorsements such as manual transmission or tanker certification are a plus.
• Experience with route driving, load & unload procedures, and freight handling across diverse terrains and conditions.
• Knowledge of safety protocols related to truck driving and vehicle maintenance.

Pay: $30.00 per hour
