We are a small but growing group of companies based in the DMV area, working across multiple industries. We’re looking for a reliable, creative, and tech-savvy person to help us manage our online stores, improve our digital marketing presence, and assist with general business projects.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update our Shopify website (adding products, optimizing listings, managing apps)
- Help set up and manage our Amazon Seller storefront
- Conduct online research on products, competitors, and market trends
- Develop low-cost digital marketing strategies (social media, SEO, and basic ads)
- Grow our social media presence and engagement (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Optimize SEO for Shopify and other digital channels
- Assist with project coordination, admin tasks, and other business support duties
- Accurately log work hours using Clockify or a similar time-tracking tool, and submit weekly summaries for review
Qualifications
- Experience with Shopify (required)
- Familiarity with Amazon Seller Central (preferred)
- Basic knowledge of SEO, social media growth, and digital advertising
- Strong research, writing, and communication skills
- Highly organized and self-motivated
- Ability to use Clockify, Toggl Track, or similar time-tracking software
- Based in or familiar with the DMV area (preferred for occasional local collaboration)
- Experience with Canva, Google Ads, or Meta Ads
- Familiarity with influencer outreach or small business marketing
- Prior experience supporting startups or small business owners
Hours & Pay
- $20/hour
- Part-time / freelance with flexible hours
