Part-time Educator

Brock’s Academy is a Designer Education® program in which our instructors travel to the student. They work in homes, in schools, or at our learning center located in Woodinville, WA. We provide premium one-on-one tutoring and private school instruction to children and young adults who are having a difficult time in traditional school settings. Our programs are custom designed to match each student’s learning style, interests, and academic needs.

We are currently seeking passionate and enthusiastic instructors who love to teach and mentor students. An ideal candidate would have both teaching and special education experience, be friendly, patient, willing to travel to the client, and comfortable working with all aged students. This individual must also be capable of working independently, be thorough in documentation and have transportation. This position is for a learner located in the Spokane area.

At Brock’s, we seek out educators who have a passion for teaching outside of the box. Our educators are creative, flexible, and willing to follow the interests of their students. They make learning an engaging and fun experience. Relationship building is key.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Qualifications and Skills Maintaining complete and accurate data and keeping records of sessions
• Education: 4-year degree (or equivalent experience) is preferred. A background in special education, psychology, BT or social work is preferred. Teaching certification is not required for this position.
• Skills: Ability to provide unique and individualized support and instruction based on the student’s learning needs.
• Misc: Reliable transportation.
