Part Time Electrician / Caulking Specialist

We are Hiring: Part-Time Electrician / Caulking Specialist (Freelance / 1099)

We are looking for a skilled part-time Electrician with caulking and finishing experience to assist with specialty smart film and glass-related installations. This is freelance/1099 project-based work for someone who takes pride in clean wiring, precision finishing, and professional jobsite conduct.

Compensation
$30 - $50/hour
Freelance / 1099
Paid per project based on completed job hours
Paid for active on-site work time only

Scope of Work
Assist with low-voltage electrical connections for smart film systems
Route and organize wiring cleanly and professionally
Install transformers, media boxes, switches, and related low-voltage components
Perform silicone caulking and edge sealing around specialty film installations
Install and fit trim around glass and film edges, including clear trim, acrylic tracks, and edge finishing systems
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, masking, degreasing, and drying before sealing or installation
Cut, shape, and miter trim cleanly and evenly
Coordinate with installation teams to ensure clean finishes and concealed wiring
Deliver clean visual lines with attention to detail — no messy silicone, exposed wiring, gaps, or uneven trim
Maintain professional conduct and protect client property on every project site

Requirements
Experience with low-voltage electrical work and wiring
Experience with caulking, glazing, silicone finishing, or trim installation
Comfortable working around glass systems, smart film, LED film, or related installations
Able to work independently and manage tasks without supervision
Reliable transportation and basic jobsite tools
Strong attention to detail and clean finishing work
Must be located in South Florida or willing to travel locally
Experience with smart film or specialty glass systems is a plus

Schedule
Part-time, flexible scheduling based on project availability and installation needs

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
