The School

English Time was founded in 1997 in Istanbul. From a modest one-center language school, it has now grown into a large-scale operation with more than 50 branches throughout Turkey.

Language Programs

English Time offers both General English courses and English for specific purposes. Many of our branches are also running courses for junior groups and exam study courses for local and international examinations. Private Tuition is also a part of the language teaching services offered by English Time.

Teaching Days & Hours

In language schools throughout the country, learners mostly favour the weekends. Therefore, instructors should expect to be assigned both afternoon groups on the weekends. Weekday classes are usually conducted in two slots: afternoon and evening classes.

Weekday afternoon slots are conducted between 15:00 and 18:10, whereas evening classes start at 06:50 pm and finish at 10:00 pm. Completion of one term (one CEFR level) in weekday groups takes up 120 lessons and is completed in 6 weeks.

Weekend morning classes are held between 09:00 am and 01:00 pm, and one CEFR level is completed in 8 weeks (120 hours)

Position offered

Qualified and/or suitable candidates are offered the position of “Instructor of English”. Applicants should possess the following documents;

a) A university college degree preferably in English or related subjects

b) A teaching certificate, such as CELTA, TEFL, TESOL, DELTA or similar.
