Job Summary:
Deliver exceptional guest services, including facials, dermaplaning, microdermabrasion, waxing, tinting, and other professional skincare treatments, in a luxury spa environment. All services should be performed with the highest level of hospitality, technical skill, and professionalism. The ideal candidate has several years of hands-on esthetics experience, demonstrates genuine commitment to personalized skincare, and is motivated to build and grow a loyal clientele within our member-focused community.

Summary of Essential Job Functions:

• Attract and retain members by consistently providing excellent customer service
• Responsible for interacting with employees, members and guests in a manner aligned with the People, Places and Programs components of the Village Standards
• Be knowledgeable about all skincare procedures, products, and protocols to ensure guest comfort and confidence
• Stock, prepare, and maintain treatment rooms for guest arrival, ensuring all supplies and products are clean, organized, and fully replenished
• Uphold all sanitation and sterilization standards as required by law and by Village spa policies and procedures
• Promptly and courteously greet each guest, escort to and from treatment rooms, locker rooms, and/or the relaxation room based on their service flow
• Perform all esthetic services with professionalism and technical expertise, prioritizing guest satisfaction while remaining on time for the next appointment
• Provide guests with thorough and knowledgeable skincare guidance, including recommended home-care and personalized skin regimens
• Maintain schedules and work hours as booked, arriving prepared and ready to perform services
• Process and transport dirty linens/laundry as needed
• Keep current with continuing education and maintain all required esthetics licenses/certifications
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
• May be required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Required to maintain a physical presence within the Village to perform assigned duties

Knowledge/Skills Required:

• Current Arizona State Board of Cosmetology Esthetician license
• Obtain CPR certification within 30 days of hire through Company training
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Must possess a cooperative and positive attitude, exercising reason which includes being a team player and be comfortable in a set schedule environment
• Must be able to interact professionally and with sensitivity to the needs of the guests and co-workers
• Must be dependable and able to adjust to schedule changes, including cancellations and additions

  Spa hours are: 9am - 5pm Tuesday/Wednesday/Friday/Saturday, 9am-7pm Thursday, 10am-3pm Sunday

• Current opening: Tuesday, Thursday, & Sunday

Knowledge/Skills Preferred:

• Previous Esthetician experience in a luxury private club, resort, spa
• Product line knowledge (PCA Skin & Eminence Organics)

Required Abilities

Physical Activity
This position requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling and sitting, lifting, reaching, pinching, grasping and feeling with hands and fingertips. Substantial repetitive movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Involved in activities where one must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to others accurately or quickly. Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction. Requires the ability to receive detailed information through written and oral communication. Must manage and perform skincare services for guests, including facials, dermaplaning, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, facial massage, and body hair removal treatments, within the scope of state licensure and spa.

Physical Requirement
Light to Medium work involving standing or sitting most of the time. Walking, bending and reaching feeling with hands and fingertips are required constantly. Frequently exerting 10-20 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Occasionally exerting up to 30 pounds of force to move objects. Position requires talking and listening.

Visual Requirement
This position requires close visual acuity to determine skin care needs, cleanliness, neatness, accuracy and thoroughness of the work assigned.

Working Conditions
Physical conditions include spa treatment appliances, tools and equipment, electrical current, vibrations, wet surfaces and floors. This position has frequent exposure to atmospheric conditions such as high heat, fumes, odors and chemicals. This position is frequently performed in close quarters and in spa treatment areas.
