Part-Time Family Helper (W2)

We’re looking for a reliable, calm, and trustworthy family helper to support our busy family of 3 for 9-16 hours per week.

We work from home and want to stay present for our son, so this role is about being an extra set of hands while a parent is home. It includes driving to activities and appointments, helping during outings, light child-related support, and light tidying of high-traffic areas.

This role starts as a helper position, but for the right fit, we’d love to find someone who could grow with our family over time. That could mean taking on more child-related responsibilities independently, with higher pay as the role grows.

Schedule:

• Required: Mondays and Wednesdays, 9:00 AM–1:30 PM
• Optional: Thursdays, 4:00 PM–7:00 PM
• Optional: Saturdays, 10:00 AM–2:00 PM or 2:00 PM–5:00 PM, 1–2 times per month
• Additional Hours: Back-up support as needed

Responsibilities include:

• Driving to activities and appointments
• Helping during outings as an extra set of hands
• Light child-related support while a parent is home
• Light tidying of high-traffic areas and common spaces
• Helping keep the day running smoothly

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Reliable, calm, and trustworthy
• Comfortable around children
• Comfortable helping with outings and appointments
• Comfortable with light tidying and day-to-day family support
• Has a safe, reliable vehicle and clean driving record
• Interested in a long-term role and open to growing in responsibility over time

Position details:

• $32/hour through an agency
• Paid twice a month, on the 10th and 25th
• Mileage reimbursement provided
• Paid sick time
• Background check required
