Part-Time Finance Consultant (Financial Modeling)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance consultant with expertise in financial modeling to support our strategic decision-making, investment readiness, and business planning. This part-time role is ideal for an experienced finance consultant, FP&A analyst, or ex-investment banking professional who wants to contribute on a flexible schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, refine, and maintain financial models (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, scenario analysis).
• Support fundraising activities by preparing valuation models, investor decks, and financial forecasts.
• Conduct sensitivity and scenario analyses to support strategic decisions.
• Provide insights on unit economics, revenue forecasting, and cost optimization.
• Prepare dashboards and MIS reports for leadership and stakeholders.
• Ensure accuracy, compliance, and consistency in all financial planning outputs.
• Collaborate with business teams to align financial models with operational realities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (CA, CFA, MBA preferred).
• 1+ years of experience in financial modeling, FP&A, investment banking, or corporate finance.
• Strong expertise in Excel, Google Sheets, and financial modeling best practices.
• Familiarity with valuation methodologies (DCF, comps, multiples).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with startups, fundraising, or venture-backed companies.
• Knowledge of financial planning software/tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau).
• Understanding of investor relations and capital markets.
