Part Time Floating Teacher

Job Overview
We are seeking a loving and warm individual to join our team as a part time floating teacher. As a floater, you will play a consistent role in assisting other teachers in different classrooms and ensuring a safe and engaging environment for children. There may be instances where you are alone in a classroom as well. We are looking for someone who can work 12pm-5pm, Monday through Friday.

Duties
- Help to close the facility each afternoon/evening and prepare the space for the previous day
- Greet children and parents warmly as they depart
- Assist with afternoon routines such as breakfast and transitioning children to their respective areas
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for all children
- Collaborate with other staff members to coordinate schedules and activities

Requirements
- Experience working with children, including infant care
- Knowledge of first aid procedures
- Background in childcare, childhood development, or caregiving
- Familiarity with special education practices is a plus
- Previous experience in babysitting, nannying, or daycare settings
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.50 - $16.50 per hour
