LINE COOK Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook Vietnamese menu items including pho, rice bowls, noodles, and appetizers following house recipes
- Operate and manage assigned station (pho station, grill, or wok line) during service
- Maintain broth quality (taste, temperature, clarity) and portion proteins accurately
- Execute fast and consistent plating for dine-in, takeout, and delivery orders (DoorDash, Uber Eats, etc.)
- Set up and restock station before and during shifts (herbs, sauces, proteins, noodles, garnishes)
- Follow strict food safety standards (temperature control, cross-contamination prevention, cleanliness)
- Keep station clean, organized, and efficient at all times during high-volume service
- Communicate clearly with team members and expeditor to ensure accurate and timely orders
- Assist with prep work (cutting meats, washing herbs, making sauces, portioning ingredients)
- Follow FIFO and proper labeling for all ingredients
- Support team members and contribute to a positive, team-first kitchen culture
LINE COOK Qualifications
- Previous kitchen experience preferred (especially in Asian or high-volume restaurants)
- Basic understanding of cooking techniques and knife skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and consistency in taste and presentation
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to ~40 lbs
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Willingness to learn Vietnamese cooking techniques and follow house standards
- Flexible availability (weekends, evenings, holidays required)
CASHIER Responsibilities:
- Sanitize dining areas and ensure cleanliness and tidiness
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining a clean, organized restaurant environment
- Perform basic math calculations for retail transactions
- Support kitchen staff with food preparation and other tasks as needed
- Wash dishes and ensure proper sanitation standards are met
CASHIER Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to uphold cleanliness standards
- Basic math skills for handling retail transactions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Willingness to learn and take direction from supervisors
- Previous experience in a restaurant or customer service role is a plus
