Duties

• Safely load, unload, and transport furniture items using appropriate equipment such as dollies and hand trucks when necessary
• Drive commercial vehicles including box trucks to deliver furniture to residential or commercial locations
• Verify delivery addresses and ensure accurate routing for timely arrivals
• Assist customers with the placement and setup of furniture upon delivery, offering excellent customer service throughout the process
• Load and secure furniture items properly to prevent damage during transit
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety standards are met
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and inventory records

Experience

• Prior experience in delivery driving or courier services preferred, especially with box trucks or similar vehicles
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients
• Warehouse experience is a plus, including familiarity with heavy lifting, moving furniture, and operating equipment like forklifts or pallet jacks
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Knowledge of route driving best practices to optimize delivery efficiency
• Ability to lift heavy furniture items repeatedly and perform physically demanding tasks safely
• Experience using load & unload techniques and handling various moving equipment

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
