Summary

The Part-Time Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the resort’s outdoor spaces to ensure a clean, attractive, and welcoming environment for guests and staff. This role supports the overall appearance and health of landscaped areas by performing routine landscaping and plant care tasks under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor.

Responsibilities

· Perform regular weeding of flower beds, walkways, and landscaped areas

· Trim shrubs, hedges, and small trees to maintain neat and aesthetically pleasing grounds

· Plant flowers, shrubs, and other greenery according to seasonal plans and resort standards.

· Edge sidewalks, driveways, and garden borders to create clean lines and defined spaces

· Maintain lawns and green spaces, including basic care and upkeep

· Remove debris, leaves, and litter from outdoor areas

· Assist with mulching, watering, and fertilizing as needed

· Monitor plant health and report any issues such as pests, disease, or damage

· Operate basic landscaping tools and equipment safely and effectively

· Follow all safety guidelines and resort policies

Qualifications

· Previous landscaping or groundskeeping experience preferred but not required

· Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

· Basic knowledge of plants, gardening techniques, and landscaping tools

· Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Schedule:

· Part-time, 3 days per week, project-based schedule determined by seasonal needs and specific landscaping projects

· Availability for weekends and holidays may be required based on resort demands

Work Environment:

· Outdoor setting across resort grounds, including gardens, lawns, and pathways

Compensation:

· Hourly wage based on experience
