Part-Time Handyman – Office Setup & Support

Job Type: Part-Time

Hours: 20-25 hours/week

Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Handyman to assist with ongoing office setup and maintenance tasks. The primary duties include breaking down cardboard boxes for recycling and assembling new office furniture such as desks, chairs, shelves, and other fixtures. This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, organized, and comfortable using basic tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Break down and dispose of cardboard boxes and packaging materials
  • Assemble new office furniture and equipment according to instructions
  • Move and arrange furniture as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Assist with other light maintenance tasks as needed

Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
  • Ability to follow written and visual assembly instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
  • Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs
  • Good time management and ability to work independently
  • Prior experience in furniture assembly or light handyman work is a plus

Schedule:

  • Schedule is variable
  • Occasional weekend or after-hours availability may be needed for special projects

Compensation:

  • $18.00 per hour
