Part-Time Class 2 HGV Tipper Driver (Holiday & Sickness Cover)

VWJ Earthmoving & Aggregates are looking for an experienced Class 2 Tipper Driver to join our team on a flexible, part-time basis covering holidays and sickness.

This role offers full working days, but with flexible weekly hours, making it ideal for experienced drivers looking for a better work-life balance or additional work.

About Us

Based in Crewe, VWJ Earthmoving & Aggregates are a well-established, professional business operating a fleet of 8-wheel (32 tonne) tippers across Cheshire, Staffordshire, Deeside and the Northwest.

The Role

• Transporting clay, subsoil, aggregates and topsoil
• Delivering to construction, housebuilding and agricultural sites
• Varied work – not just A to B
• Completing paperwork accurately
• Daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
• Maintaining high vehicle cleanliness standards
• Complying with Drivers’ Hours & Working Time Directive

No nights out – all day work

What We’re Looking For

• Valid Category C (Class 2) Licence
• Minimum 2 years HGV experience (no new passes)
• Maximum 6 penalty points
• No DD/DR convictions
• Previous tipper experience preferred
• Good local area knowledge
• Reliable, punctual and able to work unsupervised
• Takes pride in their vehicle and work

Working Hours

• Typically between 5:30am – 5:30pm, Monday to Friday
• Start times vary depending on workload
• Flexible days – not a fixed weekly pattern
