Job Overview
Looking for a host for Friday & Saturday nights. Shift would be from about 5:30-9:30. Experience with OpenTable is preferred but willing to train. Host also expected to help servers bus tables.
Responsibilities
- Warmly greet guests upon arrival with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using OpenTable
- Escort guests to their tables, providing menus and answering initial questions about the menu or restaurant policies
- Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to coordinate seating times and guest needs
- Assist in managing guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive dining experienceSkills
- Proven experience as a host/hostess or in food service environments, preferably within restaurants or hospitality settings
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
- Excellent communication skills to interact clearly with guests, team members, and management
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, serving etiquette, and hospitality best practices
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
