Part Time Host/Hostess

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to manage guest relations effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This position is part time with a schedule mainly of Tuesday-Thursday from 11:00am - 4:00pm. some weekends may be required/

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables.
• Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using Aloha POS or similar systems.
• Maintain an organized seating chart to ensure optimal table turnover and guest satisfaction.
• Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations when necessary.
• Assist in managing guest flow during peak hours to minimize wait times.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and excellent guest experiences.
• Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly, ensuring high standards of guest relations are upheld.
• Uphold cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and staff.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A positive attitude and a passion for providing outstanding hospitality experiences.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
