We are looking for a motivated and hardworking individual to join our new office in Louisville, KY. We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Part Time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team. This role involves providing comprehensive mental health assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans for diverse patient populations with complex psychiatric conditions. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, support clinical operations, and maintain a positive and professional environment.
This position is supervised by our psychiatrists and offers an excellent opportunity to grow within a supportive and collaborative clinical setting.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments utilizing advanced diagnostic evaluation techniques
- Develop accurate diagnoses and individualized treatment plans
- Provide ongoing medication management, including prescribing and monitoring psychiatric medications
- Collaborate closely with supervising psychiatrists and the clinical team
- Document all patient interactions accurately within EMR/EHR systems while maintaining HIPAA compliance
- Provide telehealth consultations utilizing telemedicine platforms to extend mental health services remotely
- Participate in case consultations, supervision sessions, and team meetings
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff
Skills
- Conducting comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and mental status exams
- Diagnosing mental health conditions using DSM-5 criteria
- Developing and managing individualized treatment plans
- Medication management and psychopharmacology expertise
- Crisis intervention, suicide risk, and safety assessments
- Experience with diverse populations

Pay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour
