Part-Time Household Assistant – Upper Peninsula (Live-In Optional)

Private rural residence in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula seeking a dependable and self-motivated individual for part-time household support.

15–20 hours per week. Flexible scheduling. Live-in option available with private furnished room.

Responsibilities:

• Cleaning and general household upkeep

• Organizing and light laundry

• Dog walks and outdoor activity support

• Light errands and supply runs

• Mail handling

• Light seasonal tasks such as basic snow shoveling

• Driving to meetings, airport trips, and local appointments as needed

• Occasional supervised activity support for a 5-year-old

• Occasional overnight housesitting or childcare when family travels

Requirements:

• Reliable and responsible

• Comfortable in a rural setting and winter climate

• Physically capable of light outdoor tasks

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

• Comfortable driving in winter conditions

• Able to accommodate occasional overnight responsibilities

• References required

• Background check required prior to start

Compensation:

$16–$20 per hour depending on experience

Live-in option includes private furnished room and utilities. This is not a 24/7 role; defined work hours apply. Overnight duties will be scheduled in advance.
