Part-time Housekeeper

Georgetown & Cambridge Assisted Living is looking to hire a Part-Time Housekeeper to join our dedicated housekeeping team! Our facility is home to fun-loving, faith-based seniors, and we are seeking someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Schedule: Monday-Thursday 8am-1pm

Qualifications:

• Passion for caring for the elderly
• Prior housekeeping experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent

Job Duties:

• Clean, disinfect, and straighten resident rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, laundry rooms, and other work areas to meet health standards
• Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies using vacuums and/or shampooers
• Sweep, scrub, wax, and/or polish floors using appropriate equipment
• Scour, scrub, and disinfect sinks, tubs, toilets, and bathing areas
• Polish silver accessories and metal fixtures
• Dust and polish furniture, woodwork, and equipment
• Wash windows, door panels, and sills
• Empty wastebaskets and dispose of trash properly
• Clean up spills or soiled areas as needed
• Collect, wash, dry, fold, and distribute laundry following approved procedures
• Ensure equipment is safe and properly stored; maintain safe work areas
• Follow procedures for cleaners and hazardous materials
• Attend required in-service and training sessions
• Understand, comply with, and promote Resident Rights
• Promote positive relationships with residents, visitors, and regulators
• Maintain professional appearance, attitude, and confidentiality of personal or health information
• Perform other duties as assigned
