Overview

Hudson Valley Creamery is seeking a part time Human Resources Administrator who will also process the weekly payroll for about 30 people.

We are a manufacturing plant located in Livingston, NY (Hudson, NY address). We make goat cheese products, such as flavored goat cheese logs, tubs and crumbled cheese and sell them to our grocery store customers.

Duties

  • Process weekly payroll in ADP.
  • Entering new employees in ADP
  • Keep track of employees PTO and use of it in payroll.
  • Human Resources for the plant.
  • Recruiting of open positions.
  • Schedule and conduct interview with hiring managers
  • Be a contributing member of the leadership team at HVC.

Preferred Requirements

  • Previous HR experience or Degree in HR or a combo of both.
  • Previous Payroll experience.
  • Computer literate with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills for managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining confidentiality.

We are starting this position at 20 hours a week with the possibility for expansion of the hours if that sees fit for the position and correct candidate.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
