Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead our HR department and support organizational growth. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of human resources functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, compliance, and HRIS management. The ideal candidate is hands-on, approachable, and passionate about employee engagement, compliance, and building a great workplace experience
Duties
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals, including strategic planning and organizational design.
- Oversee talent acquisition processes such as sourcing, interviewing, onboarding, and employee orientation to attract top talent.
- Manage employee relations by addressing conflicts, conducting employee evaluations, and facilitating effective communication across teams.
- Administer benefits programs, including benefits administration, workers' compensation, and compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Ensure adherence to employment & labor law, FMLA regulations, and OSHA standards while maintaining compliance with contracts and legal requirements.
- Lead performance management initiatives to improve employee productivity through training & development programs and succession planning.
- Minimal travel between five agency locations (Oshkosh, Beaver Dam, Watertown, West Bend, and Columbus)
Requirements
- Proven experience in human resources management
- Extensive knowledge of employment & labor law, OSHA standards, workers' compensation regulations, and HR compliance requirements.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience with talent acquisition strategies including sourcing, interviewing, onboarding, and employee evaluation processes.
- Ability to lead change management initiatives while managing multiple projects effectively.
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification a plus
