HR Coordinator
Summary
We are looking for an HR Administrator to support our Human Resources department. You will act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees and external partners. Your main administrative duties include maintaining personnel records, managing HR documents (i.e. employment records and onboarding guides) and updating internal databases. Our ideal candidate has experience with HR procedures and can juggle various administrative tasks in a timely manner, has familiarity with all related acronyms (EE, FTE, EEOC, BWC, etc.) and some experience with documentation of disciplinary actions as well as following procedures for proper documentation. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure our HR department supports our employees while conforming to labor laws. This position is paid hourly with an 25-30 hour/week schedule.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Organize and maintain personnel records.

Update internal databases (i.e. record sick or other types of leave)

Complete HR documents
- Liaise with external partners, like insurance vendors, third party administrators

Schedule external partners in for employee meetings for assistance with benefit questions or for training

Create regular reports and presentations on HR metrics (e.g. turnover rates)

Answer employees’ queries about HR-related issues.

Assist payroll department by providing relevant employee information (e.g. leaves of absence, sick days, and work schedules)

Process expense forms.

Maintain appropriate employee onboarding and other compliance-related documents in an orderly fashion according to HR procedures/Labor law.

Ensures that all necessary documentation relating to HR is acquired, signed, and recorded appropriately.

Participate in HR projects (i.e. help organize a job fair event)
Qualifications/Training
- Proven work experience as an HR Administrator, HR Administrative Assistant or relevant role

Computer literacy (MS Office applications, in particular)

Thorough knowledge of labor laws

Excellent organizational skills with an ability to prioritize important projects.

Strong phone, email and in-person communication skills

BS in Human Resources or relevant field a plus

Experience with Paycom a plus.
