Part-Time Hybrid Accountant in Maadi

Location: Hybrid (Must be based in Cairo for local filings)

About the Role: We are looking for a proactive and experienced Accountant to handle our daily financial records and assist with administrative filings. This is primarily a work-from-home role, but we need someone with strong local knowledge who can physically handle government paperwork, banking, or compliance tasks when required. Someone who is also able to be in office once a week in maadi.

The ideal candidate isn't just a number cruncher; they "know the system." You should have the connections and know-how to navigate local bureaucracy efficiently to get things done.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily Accounting: Manage daily bookkeeping, expense tracking, and ledger entries using [Insert Software, e.g., QuickBooks/Xero/Excel].

Government & Compliance (The "Papers"): Physically visit and liaise with government offices, tax authorities, or banks to file paperwork, renew licenses, and ensure full compliance.

Bureaucratic Navigation: Utilize your knowledge of local regulations and your professional network to expedite administrative processes and solve compliance issues.

Reporting: Prepare simple weekly financial reports to keep the business owner updated on cash flow and pending administrative tasks.

Record Keeping: Maintain an organized digital archive of all invoices, receipts, and official government documents.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: E£3,000.00 - E£4,000.00 per month
