Part-Time In-House Bookkeeper (Growth to Full-Time)

Overview
We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support our growing business operations. This is an in-person position based in Miami Beach and will begin as a part-time role (20–30 hours per week) with the opportunity to grow into a full-time position for the right candidate.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of bookkeeping experience, strong knowledge of QuickBooks, and is comfortable maintaining accurate financial records and coordinating with our CPA for monthly and year-end reporting.

This role requires someone organized, reliable, and capable of managing day-to-day bookkeeping functions independently.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks
  • Record and categorize financial transactions
  • Accounts Payable: manage vendor bills and payments
  • Accounts Receivable: create invoices, track payments, and follow up on receivables
  • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Assist with preparation of monthly financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
  • Maintain organized financial documentation and records
  • Work with management and the CPA to ensure books are accurate and tax-ready
  • Track expenses and assist with budgeting and financial organization
  • Help maintain financial accuracy across multiple business activities if needed
  • Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of bookkeeping experience
  • Strong knowledge of QuickBooks (Online or Desktop)
  • Experience with bank reconciliations and financial reporting
  • Experience managing accounts payable and receivable
  • Comfortable preparing books for CPA review and tax preparation
  • Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills
  • Proficiency with Excel or spreadsheets
  • Ability to handle confidential financial information

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working with multiple business entities
  • Experience with inventory or operational businesses
  • Experience preparing monthly financial reports for management

Work Environment

  • In-person position in Miami , Magic City location
  • Flexible scheduling within 20–30 hours per week

Compensation

$25 – $40 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.
