Part-Time Infant Nanny Needed – Long-Term, Guaranteed Monthly Hours
A warm, first-time parent family is seeking a nurturing, experienced infant nanny to care for their child, and then ongoing part-time support with a guaranteed minimum of 75 hours per month.
This role is ideal for a nanny who loves infants, values collaboration with parents, and feels confident supporting a family as they transition back to work.
Position Details
Start Date: July 2026
Schedule: 24–36 hours per week (monthly minimum of 75 guaranteed hours)
Days: Set days each week for consistency
Long-Term Commitment: Yes
Family Support: A grandparent will cover Fridays
Information on the hours: This position offers 75 guaranteed hours per month, designed to give the nanny a stable, predictable income while accommodating the family’s dual-physician schedule.
- The nanny will choose the set days she prefers to work M-TH
- Those selected days will remain the same each week for consistency.
- While the days are consistent, the weekly hours will naturally fluctuate based on the parents’ rotating medical schedules. The hours will fall between 6A-6P
- Most weeks will fall between 24–36+ hours, but regardless of variations, the nanny will always be paid for a minimum of 75 hours each month, while most weeks will fall between 75-90 hours.
Child Information
- One infant
- No known allergies or medical needs
- Nursing household; following routines such as wake windows, eat/play/sleep, and gentle sleep-training methods as baby grows
- Screen-free environment during infancy
- Family enjoys outdoor time, stroller walks, and nature outings
Responsibilities
Primary Childcare Duties
- Attentive, responsive infant care
- Bottle prep and feeding routines
- Infant laundry and maintaining clean/organized baby spaces
- Supporting daily rhythms and developmental play
- Monitoring cues and following the family’s preferred structure
Light Household Support
- Letting the friendly family dog outside
- Optional dog walks if comfortable
Ideal Candidate
- Confident, knowledgeable infant caregiver
- Warm, friendly, easy to talk to; brings a positive, bubbly energy
- Familiar with infant safety, routines, and developmental stages
- Montessori-leaning or open to child-led, respectful care approaches
- Collaborative, but willing to follow parent preferences
- Flexible, reliable, and comfortable adjusting as baby grows
Compensation & Benefits
- $22–$27/hour
- Guaranteed 75+ hours per month

- Open to payroll and standard household employment compliance
- Driving may be needed once the child is older; mileage reimbursement availableFamily is open to providing an additional car seat if needed
Additional Notes
- One dog in the home (Bernese Mountain Dog/Poodle mix)
- No additional household staff besides biweekly cleaners
- Vaccination expectations include up-to-date routine vaccines; TDAP and flu are strongly preferred
- Occasional weekend care may be appreciated but will not be frequent
- Rare transport to medical appointments may be requested in true emergencies
- Trial days in December available
- Long-term placement strongly preferred
