Part-Time Inventory Assistant

The Kenwood Vineyards Hospitality and Retail team is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Inventory Assistant to support inventory management and tasting room operations. This role reports to the Hospitality and Retail Manager and plays an important part in ensuring accurate inventory, a well-stocked tasting room, and an organized workspace. The position requires a flexible schedule, including weekends and occasional extended shifts for inventory.

Key Responsibilities

· Track and maintain product and packaging inventory, communicating ordering needs to appropriate departments

· Stock and restock wine, merchandise, and supplies in the tasting room and storage areas

· Assist with monthly inventory counts for the tasting room and storage areas

· Maintain clean, organized, and secure storage areas

· Support order processing, packing, and shipping as needed

· Recycle materials (cardboard, glass, etc.) from storage and tasting room areas

· Assist with building and restocking Wine Club packages for pick-up

· Provide backup support to Hospitality and Retail Representatives as needed

· Collaborate with team members and assist with additional duties as assigned

· Basic computer skills or willingness to learn

· Ability to maintain confidentiality when needed

· Excellent attendance and reliability

· Flexible schedule, including weekends and occasional overtime

· Must be at least 21 years of age

· Valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record required

Education & Experience

· High school diploma or GED required

· 1–3 years of warehouse experience (ordering, receiving, packing, shipping) required

· 1–3 years of retail experience required

Physical Requirements

· Ability to lift 40–50 lbs. repetitively

· Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, including uneven surfaces and stairs

· Repetitive use of hands and wrists for opening and pouring wine
