Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of fresh juices, smoothies, coffee drinks, and light snacks with precision and care
• Operate POS systems to process transactions efficiently and accurately
• Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and offering product recommendations
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by following proper food handling and preparation procedures
• Manage cash handling responsibilities including cash register operation, basic math calculations, and balancing cash drawers
• Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies, ingredients, and packaging materials as needed
• Support food safety protocols by adhering to health regulations and ensuring a hygienic work environment

Qualifications

• Previous barista or food service experience is highly preferred, especially in café or retail settings
• Schedule flexibility.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast is preferred
• Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality service
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
• Knowledge of food safety standards, food preparation techniques, and proper food handling procedures
• Basic math skills for cash handling, sales calculations, and retail math tasks
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks involved in food preparation and serving
