Part Time Junior Analyst — eCommerce & Market

About the Role

We're looking for a Junior Analyst who can play a significant role in helping us better understand our customers, website experience and marketing campaigns, and help make data and insights available across the entire organization.

This is a high-visibility role where your work will directly inform marketing strategy, merchandising decisions, and customer acquisition investments. We believe AI will greatly elevate the impact this individual can have by automating much of the report generation and presentation that traditionally defined this role, and enable this individual to focus more time on surfacing the insights that will truly move the organization forward.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and maintain the key daily, weekly and monthly KPIs and reports
  • Analyze performance across key channels, such as Meta, Google, email and influencer / affiliate, and surface actionable insights for the marketing team
  • Help develop KPIs, reporting and insights regarding customer behavior, trends and loyalty
  • Monitor website performance including product-level trends, conversion rate drivers, and checkout funnel behavior
  • Identify tracking gaps, attribution inconsistencies, or data quality issues
  • Respond to ad hoc data requests from marketing, operations, and leadership
  • Build and maintain automated alerts and anomaly detection so performance issues surface in real time, not in the weekly review
  • Help develop and maintain a library of standard prompts and AI-assisted workflows used for recurring analysis tasks
  • Evaluate new features and attribution models within Triple Whale and other platforms as they roll out, and make recommendations on adoption
  • Build agentic flows, orchestrations and agents to deliver quicker and deeper insights
  • Validate and verify outputs and results from AI agents and responses

Must-Haves

  • Fluency with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar) and a demonstrated ability to leverage AI to accelerate analytical work. This is non-negotiable. You should be able to write effective prompts, build repeatable AI-assisted workflows, chain tools together to automate recurring analysis, and apply the critical judgment needed to verify and refine what AI produces. If you're not already using AI as a daily multiplier in your work, this role isn't the right fit.
  • 1–3 years of experience in an analytical role, ideally within eCommerce, retail, or DTC marketing
  • Hands-on experience with retail analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Triple Whale, Northbeam or Domo, and comfort navigating multi-platform reporting
  • Experience with online retail platforms such as Shopify, BigCommerce or Salesforce Commerce Cloud
  • Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets
  • Strong attention to detail — you check your own work and you care about accuracy
  • Ability to communicate findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders
  • A proactive mindset — you don't wait to be asked before flagging something interesting

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with Looker Studio, SQL, or similar tools
  • Familiarity with external marketing platforms such as Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, Klaviyo, etc.
  • Basic Python or scripting experience for automating repetitive tasks
  • Experience building agents, orchestrations, or workflows in tools like n8n, Zapier, Make, or via direct API integrations
